Wayman Tisdale was an American professional basketball player and jazz bass guitarist with a net worth of $8 million. He was born in Fort Worth, Texas in June 1964 and passed away in May 2009. Tisdale was known for his dunking abilities, which he first learned in eighth grade. He played basketball for the University of Oklahoma, where he was a three-time Big Eight Player of the Year and consensus first-team All-American from 1983 to 1985. Tisdale won a gold medal as part of the 1984 United States Olympic basketball team coached by Bobby Knight. His #2 was later honored by the University of Oklahoma.
